    Welcome to Fairview

At Fairview we believe teaching and learning should be fun! Teachers involve our students in hands-on learning which helps students build problem solving and critical thinking skills.  Students routinely demonstrate their learning through meaningful discussions, reflective writing, and technology-enhanced activities. Our goal is to meet the individual learning styles of every student.

At Fairview we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to learn in a safe and supportive environment. Our students learn about good character traits through a variety of programs and participate in classroom community meetings each day.  We challenge students to grow, encourage them when they need support, and celebrate them when they reach milestones.  We believe a whole-child approach promotes long-term success for our students.

At Fairview we use a variety of assessments to determine students’ academic needs. All students receive tiered interventions designed to remediate and accelerate their learning in both English Language Arts and Mathematics.   Our goal is for 100% of our students to be working on grade level.

Fairview is a proud member of the No Excuses University Network.  We believe in the NEU philosophy:  every child deserves the opportunity to be educated in a way that prepares them for college, and we, the educators have the power to make this dream a reality.  Our goal is to teach students about college and career options which follow high school graduation.

Visit the events calendar on our website or contact us if you would like more information about our school.  We encourage parents and community to be involved in supporting our students.  At Fairview Elementary we are planning for success!
